Organ transplantation is a surgical procedure in which a non-functioning organ is replaced with a healthy organ in patients with end-stage organ failure. The transplantation process is planned through detailed evaluation of both the patient and the donor, compatibility testing, and a multidisciplinary approach. Individualized and evidence-based criteria are applied for each patient.
